I didn’t meet him at any of the Vancouver Public Library’s Knowledge events or at a lecture on Marshall McLuhan and Cities. It was the first thing I asked him.

I met Richard through Bryght. He’s super nice.

...he told me he wasn’t in the e-mail business. I told him he was. He agreed after I attempted to shave his head when he was the only guy who could fix my e-mail. Richard is now in the e-mail business.

How does he manage to be so informed and so up to date on so many things? He’s a fascinating conversationalist.

Min Jung is funny, fabulous, beautiful, smart, and once she read me like a book, which is disarming as all hell.

I met her at a conference in Vancouver after knowing her for about a year online through the #joiito IRC channel. She’s funny, beautiful, has the brain the size of a planet, and, of course, has an unforgetable accent, at least to those of us who have West Coast North American accents.

She also gives good hug.
